Statesboro - Carl Harvey, 69, died Sunday at Bulloch Memorial Hospital in Statesboro after a long illness.
The Bulloch County native was a retired Primitive Baptist Minister, having served several churches, including Stillmore, Vidalia, Spring Hill and AntiocPrimitive (sic) Baptist churches.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nellie Kennedy Harvey of Statesboro, a daughter, Mrs. Carlette H. Hammond of Gainesville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church, with burial in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
