BELCHER, HATTIE PEARL age 85, of Bessemer, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Richard and Betha Belle Lawley; her husband, James Belcher; her son, Jay Belcher; her grandson, Kip Belcher; her brothers, Richard (Jonnie) Lawley and Brice Lawley and her sister, Elizabeth Scroggins Fisher. She is survived by her brother, Nelson (Lou) Lawley; her sister, Bessie Mae Hulsey and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff at Plantation Manor Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held at Valhalla Cemetery Friday, August 6, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Dewey Mayfield officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, August 6, 2010 from 11:00 until 12:45 p.m.
