LAWLEY, Mr. John Richard, age 89, of 517 35th Street North Bessemer, passed away Monday. He is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. L.P. Fisher of Bessemer, Mrs. Bessie Mae Hulsy of New Orleans, La., and Mrs. Hattie Pearl Belcher of Springhill, Tenn., 3 sons, Richard A. Lawley of Bessemer, Herbert B. Lawley of B'ham, and James N. Lawley of Lipscomb, 12 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 1 sister, Mrs. Lawrence Drake of Auburn, AL. Funeral service will be Wednesday 3:00 PM, Brown Service Bessemer Cahpel, interment Valhalla with Dr. J. L. Brigham, Rev James Cambron and Rev. Fred Jordan officiating. Grandsons to serve as active pallbearers. Honarary pallbearers, Members Baraca Class of First Baptist Church Bessemer. Brown Service Bessemer directing.
