James H. Alexander, 68, Pana,retired RR section employee, died @ 9:40 a.m. Sunday, May 2 (1954) in Huber Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for 5 days.
He was born May 27, 1885 at Ramsey. His parents were Mr. & Mrs. John Alexander. Surviving are his widow, Elizabeth (Leach) Alexander and 8 children:

2. Alonzo (Lonnie) Alexander of Camp Irvin, California
3. Juanita Chipman of Wilmington, CA
4. Gertrude "Trudy" Welsh of Louisville, KY

7. James "Jimmie" Alexander Jr. of Ft. Leonard Wood, MO
8. Glenn R. Alexander with the Airforce in England
and a step-son JC (James Clarence)Rhodes of Springfield, IL
Burial is in the Mound Cemetery.
