Funeral rites for Mrs. Rose E. Barnhizer, 82, who died Sunday, May 5, 1957 in the Oakdale Municipal Hospital will be held in Pascoe Booth Mortuary. Rev. John Bishop of the Free Methodist Church will officiate and interment will be in the Oakdale Citizens Cemetery.

Born in Iowa, Mrs. Barnhizer had resided in River Bank, Calif., before moving to Oakdale seven years ago. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Moore of Lineville, Iowa, Mrs. Lorene Nivins of Tracy, Mrs. Lorrell Walker of Oakdale and Mrs. Rasamond Ray of Sacramento, Calif.; two sons, Terry of Pescadero, Calif. and Raymond of Oakdale, Calif., three brothers, Lloyd, Orville and Ralph Reiner of Iowa, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mrs. Barnhizer's husband Chester, two sons, Paul and Ted and a daughter, Grace, all preceded her in death.
