HUGH WILSON REINIER 81 dies at the home of his son RALPH REINIER in Leon, IA. Funeral services were held at Reynolds Funeral Chapel (Sigourney, IA) at 2 PM with the Rev. Krenmyre reading the service. Interment was made in West Cemetery near Sigourney, IA.
HUGH WILSON REINIER, 7th son of HUGH GRAY REINIER and SARAH GRAY POTTENGER, was born March 15th, 1850 in Jackson TWP, Keokuk Co., IA. He passed away January 20th 1932 at the home of his son RALPH in Leon, IA, Decatur Co.
January 1, 1870, he was united in marriage with Miss MARY FRANCIS SMITHART. To this union was born 12 children, three dying in infancy. Mrs. REINIER proceeded him in death October 8, 1919; also Mrs. ALICE LETHRIDGE; Mrs. DAISY LEONA WITTE; Mrs. MILDRED HUTTON; LEONARD REINIER. Those left to mourn the loss of a dear father are; Mrs. ROSE BARNHIZER of Mercer Co, MO; RALPH and GLEN of Decatur Co., IA; LLOYD of near Martinsburg, IA; ORVAL of Sigourney, IA and a number of nieces and nephews.
