MRS. BELINDA ADAMS

Mrs. Belinda Adams, who broke her hip in a fall o December 9, died from the effects of the injury at the home of her son Will C. Adams, on south Pike street, at 6:15 o’clock Sunday evening, aged seventy-nine years, seven months and ten days.

Mrs. Adams had been a life-long resident of this county. She was born in Morristown, May 14, 1832. On December 20, 1864, she was united in marriage to Dr. James M. Adams and to this union five children were born, three of whom, Will C., Dr. Ovid L. and Jesse J. Adams, all of this city, survive her.

She had been a member of the Methodist church since early childhood and at the time of her death was a member of the First M. E. church of this city.

The funeral services were conducted at 9 o’clock this morning at the home of the son where she died, the Rev. William G. Clinton, assisted by the Rev. J. T. Scull, officiating. Interment was made in the Asbury cemetery at Morristown under the direction of Hageman, Hawkins & Hendrickson.
