MRS. MELISSA FLINT
Well Known Morristown Woman Died at Home of Daughter
Mrs. Melissa Flint, one of the well known aged ladies of Morristown, died at eleven o'clock last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. R. Collins, of New Haven, Ind. She was about seventy-five years of age at the time of her death.
She was born in this county and had spent the greater part of her life here. She had lived at Morristown for many years and was a familiar figure about this little community. Early this winter she became ill and had been in ailing health practically since then. Several weeks ago she was taken to the home of her daughter, where she was cared for. Paralysis was directly the cause of her death, she suffering her second stroke a few days ago. Her husband, John Flint, also well known in Morristown, died in that town three years ago this spring.
Five children survive the parents, three daughters and two sons. They are Mrs. Anna Beady, of Indianapolis; Mrs. Alice Griffey, of Martinsville; the daughter at whose home she died; Harry Flint, of Connersville, and Frank Flint of Rushville.
The remains will be brought to the home of the deceased in Morristown at eight o'clock tonight from New Haven. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
