Mrs. Albert E. (Dorothy V.) Yahnke, 64, of 1209 S. 39th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning, November 19, at her residence following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. J. Anthony Hough will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Yahnke, nee Dorothy Campbell, was born December 28, 1916, in Harlan County, Ky., daughter of the late Rufus and Ada Sexton Campbell. She grew up in Lancaster, Ky., where she was educated and married to Albert E. Yahnke March 19, 1937. Mr. and Mrs. Yahnke moved to the Kewaunee area in the early 1950s from Chester Pa., and have been Manitowoc residents since 1965.
Survivors include her husband, Albert E., a daughter and son-in-law, Norma Jean and Gerald E. Robinson of Manitowoc; four sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Linda of Trinidad, Colo., Melvin and Ruth of Sparks, Nev., James and Donna of Carrollton, Texas, and Robert and Pat of St. Paul, Minn.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Wilma Campbell of Richmond, Ind., and A.Z. and Pauline Campbell of Las Vegas, Nev., seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday until the hour of service.
