ALBERT E. YAHNKE

Albert E. Yahnke, age 86, of 1209 S. 39th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning,
May 23, 1995, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 1995, at Reinbold-
Pfeffer Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Klingeisen will officiate with burial at
Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born October 31, 1908, at Staunton, Ill., son of the late Otto and Pearl
Sawyer Jahnke. As a young child the family moved to Abrams and he attended
schools there. On March 19, 1937, he married Dorothy V. Campbell at Lancaster,
Ky. She preceded him in death on November 19, 1981. Mr. Yahnke retired from the
Manitowoc Company in 1975 after working there for 24 years. He was a graduate
of the Ambassador College of World Wide Church of God.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Harold K. and Linda Yahnke,
Springfield, Mo., Melvin E. and Ruth Yahnke, Reno, Nev., James O. and Donna
Yahnke, Dallas, Texas, Robert E. and Pat Yahnke, Minneapolis, Minn.; one daughter
and son-in-law, Norma Jean and Gerald Robinson, Manitowoc; seven grandchildren;
11 great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Elmer and Ruth
Yahnke, Oconto, Otto and Lillian Jahnke, Redwood City, Calif., Errol Jahnke,
Abrams; one sister, Hilma Mayo, Oconto. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Desmond, one
brother, Wilbur Jahnke.
Family and friends may call at the Reinbold-Pfeffer Funeral Home on Friday
from 5-8 p.m.
Memorials would be appreciated for the Salvation Army.
