Constance H. Wier, age 50, a resident of Meadow View Group Home for the Developmentally Disabled, New Frankin, died Thursday evening, Sept. 29, 2005, at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center, Green Bay. She was born July 16, 1955, in Manitowoc, daughter of Richard and Doris Zellner Wier. Connie was a resident of Northern Wisconsin Center for the Developmentally Disabled in Chippewa Falls for many years. Connie was most recently at Meadow View Group Home of New Frankin. Survivors include her parents: Richard and Doris Wier, Manitowoc; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Susan and Dick Barrett, Wausau; Linda and Jeff Wolfert, Sheboygan; Mary Lee and Tim Smith, Two Rivers; her godparents: Carol Daley and Norman Wier, both of Manitowoc; four nieces, four nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Alois and Barbara Wier, and her maternal grandparents: Adolph and Helen Zellner. Private family funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial was the Rev. David Hoffman with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
