John was the son of John W. Wallace (1830) and Sarah Penelope Wallace (1847). He was the loving husband of Agnes M. Wallace (1877). Their children were Janessa A. Wallace (born in 1899); Winona (born in 1902); brothers John W. Wallace (born in 1905); and Harry A. Wallace (born in 1908) and Mary Louise Wallace (1908-1986). He was a lumberman and died of a heart attack. He is deeply missed.
