OMAR TRUETTNER (d. 1956)

Omar F. Truettner, 51, of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, took his own life Tuesday. Funeral
services will be at 2 pm Friday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev.
Donald T. Stannard will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Truettner was born December 31, 1904 at Rt. 2, Manitowoc, son of the Ernest
and Hermina Wernecke Truettner. On January 29, 1935 he married Serena Dickvoss
at Waukegan, Ill. He had been employed for a time at the Manitowoc Shipbuilding
Inc. yards.
Surviving him are his wife; three sons, Russell of Waukesha, Omar Jr. and Jerome
at home; a daughter, Mrs. William Dimmick of Manitowoc; a brother, Fred of
Manitowoc and two sisters, Mrs. Arno Meisner and Mrs. Alvin Pelster of
Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o'clock this Thursday evening.
