Mrs. L.W. (Mabel P.) Trippler, 94, formerly of 1702 New York Avenue, Manitowoc, died Monday evening, July 6th, at Family Heritage Nursing Home, Manitowoc.
Private family services will be held Thursday morning at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Edmund E. Olson will offiicate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Trippler was born June 13, 1887, at Cooperstown, daughter of the late Adolph and Rose Skwor Pilger. She was married to Carl A. Hanson in August of 1906, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death in 1952. She was then married to L.W. Trippler in August of 1955. Mrs. Trippler was a member of First Lutheran Church and Manitowoc Order of Eastern Star No. 196.
Survivors include her husband, L.W. Trippler of Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-law, Erie A. and Virginia Hanson of Monroe, Ohio; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Mark and Catherine Trippler of Chippewa Falls, Wis.; a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth H. and Erwin E. Waskow of Two Rivers; a step-daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Mel Parks of Manitowoc; seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ed Pilger, and three sisters, Emma, Ida and Anne.
There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
