WILLIAM TOLTZMAN
Mr. William H. Toltzman, 82, of 1804A Western Avenue, Manitowoc died Saturday evening, February 9, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Robert Hayes will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Toltzman was born December 27, 1902, at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, son of the late William and Alvina Woelfert Toltzman. Mr. Toltzman was a long time employee of Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company from 1927 until retiring in 1967. He married the former Nettie Dronso in 1934 at Manitowoc. She preceded him in death in 1964. He then married Elmyra Schmeisser in 1972 at Wesely United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. Mr. Toltzman was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Elmyra; a son and a daughter-in-law, Larry and Doorthy Toltzman of Manitowoc; a daughter and a son-in-law, Mary Lou and Gene Gate of Two Rivers; two step sons, Marvin and Roger Kalk, both of Manitowoc; three step daughters, Dorothy Abramovich of Manitowoc, Eunice Douglas of Reno, Nevada and Eleanore Nelson of Manitowoc; a brother and a sister-in-law, Fritz and Jean Toltzmann (sic) of Manitowoc; a sister, Clara Dorschner of Manitowoc; ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and other relatives and friends also survived.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 o'clock to 8 o'clock this Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. then at Wesley United Methodist Church from noon until the hour of service.
