Mrs. Ray Timm, 61, of 1027 N. 16th Street, Manitowoc, died unexpectedly of a
heart attack at the home Tuesday afternoon.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church,
Manitowoc, with the Rev. Gervase Zanotti officiating. Burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Lillian Krumel was born Nov. 19, 1897, at Reedsville, daughter of
the late Peter Krumel and Mrs. Julia Wilda Krumel. She came to Manitowoc as
a young girl where she was married June 14, 1923, to Ray Timm, owner of Timm’s
Tire and Battery Service of 720 Commercial St., Manitowoc.
Mrs. Timm, a member of First Presbyterian Church, was a member of United
Presbyterian Women’s Organization. She currently was serving as president of
Two Rivers-Manitowoc Unit to Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, Minneapolis;
was a member of Manitowoc Chapter 196, Order of Eastern Star, of which she was a
past president of its auxiliary; was vice president of Manitowoc Commandery No.
45 Auxiliary; past president of Lions Club Auxiliary; and a member of Elks Lodge
No. 687 Auxiliary.
Surviving Mrs. Timm are the husband; a son, Paul, mother, Mrs. Peter Krumel, two
sisters, Mrs. Adeline Krumel and Mrs. John Hume, a niece, a nephew and a grandchild,
of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until 10:30 a.m. Thursday when
the casket will be moved to the church where the body will lie in state until the
hour of service.
Memorials may be submitted for Shriners Hospital.
