Eunice Jane Wright Stonecypher Obit
Mrs. James Stonecypher for many years a resident of this place passed away at her home Tues. morning at 7:30 A.M. Her death came suddenly after an illness of but a day.
Eunice Jane Wright was born near New Madison, Ohio, June 6th, 1841 in 1854, she went to Columbus, Ind. to live where on Nov. 14th, 1860 she was united in marriage with James Stonecypher. She resided in Ind. until the fall of 1879 when with her
husband and four children she came to Seward Co., Nebr. settling on a farm north of Beaver Crossing. In 1892 she moved to Beaver City, Nebr. coming back to Beaver Crossing, Neb. in 1920, where she passed away at her home June 22nd, 1926. Age 85
years and 16, days. Her husband preceded her in death June 7th, 1925.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Mrs. Chryssie Dygert, Carillo Stonecypher, and Mrs. Mazella Harris of this place and Courtland Stonecypher of Richland, Ind. Five grandchildren, Logan Dygert, of Beaver Crossing Mrs. Iva Miller and Mrs. Eunice Kisker of Calif., Mrs. Fern Danskin, of Aurora, Nebr., and Mrs. Eva McHale of Seward Nebr. Besides these she also leaves ten greatgrandchildren. In earl life she united with the Methodist church at Beaver City, Nebr., She was faithful to every task she considered her duty and ever ready to aid in sickness. Always devoted to her home ad family. Always holding for her children right principles of living.
Rev. Drum conducted the funeral services which were held at the M. E. church Thursday afternoon, at 2:30 P.M. Burial was made at the Beaver Crossing cemetery.
