HENRY REUTHER

Henry Reuther, 65, of 625 N. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning at
home.Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul United Methodist
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Robert C. Isler will officiate with burial in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Reuther was born Feb. 2, 1911, at Brillion, son of the late Louis and
Elizabeth Brus Reuther. He was educated in Brillion area schools. He married
Mathilda Rauland Aug. 19, 1933, at Seymour Methodist Church at Seymour, residing
at Manitowoc. He worked for 42 years with Manitowoc Public Utilities Co.,
retiring in 1971 as superintendent of the line crew. He was a member of St. Paul
Methodist Church and church Men's club and was a past trustee of the church,
currently serving on the parsonage committee. He was a member of Blue Lodge No.
65, F & AM, Chapter No. 16, R & AM, Knights Templar, Manitowoc Council,
Wisconsin Scottish Rite, Shrine Club, Council 18, R & SM, and Tripoli Temple. He
was a life member of the I Foundation and DeMolay. He also was a member of the
ARP Group and Manitowoc Senior Citizens and was active in the "Wheels" of
Manitowoc.

Survivors include his wife, three sons, Roman and Roy, of Manitowoc and Roger,
of New Berlin; two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Cora) Vogt and Mrs. Frank (Esther)
Kuhnle, of Manitowoc and six grandchildren. Six brothers and four sisters
preceded him in death.
