Mrs. Victor E. Hermann, 67, of 949 S. 37th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday
morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following an apparent heart
attack at her home.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wesley United Methodist
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Donald T. Stannard will officiate and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Hermann, nee Verona Reuther, was born Dec. 4, 1901, at Brillion,
daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth Bruss Reuther. She attended
Brillion schools and was married to Victor Hermann Sept. 3, 1918, at
Menominee, Mich.
Shortly after their marriage they made their home at Manitowoc. Her
husband preceded her in death in 1957. Mrs. Hermann was a member of
the Gold Star Mothers.
Survivors include two sons, Howard of Manitowoc and Victor of Green Bay;
a daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Anna) Kaminski, of Manitowoc; thrre (sic) brothers,
George of Detroit, Mich., Carl of Hayton and Henry of Manitowoc; two sisters,
Mrs. Frank Kuhnle and Mrs. Henry Vogt of Manitowoc; 10 grandchildren and four
great grandchildren. A son, Donald, died in World War II. She was also
preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at the Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until 11 a.m.
Tuesday, when the body will be taken to the church to lie in state. Memorial
services will be conducted at 7:30 o'clock this Monday evening at the funeral
home.
