Mrs. Mary Reimer, 78, of 2512 Michigan Ave., Manitowoc, died Tuesday afternoon in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Friday in Parkside Funeral Home and 10 am in Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Richard Verhasselt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Reimer, nee Mary Grall, was born Sept. 12, 1900 in Whitelaw, daughter of the late Ignatz and Lena Meyer Grall. She was educated in Whitelaw area schools and was married to Louis Reimer June 10, 1924 in Whitelaw. He preceded her in death Jan. 5, 1975. She was a member and past officer of the VFW Auxiliary, a member of Whitelaw Senior Citizens, charter member of Holy Innocents Parish and a member of the Altar Society of the parish.
Survivors include three sons, Robert of Cincinnati, Ohio, Anton of Manitowoc and Louis of Hartford; a daughter, Mrs. William (Ann) Gillen of Windsor, Ontario, Canada; four brothers, Joseph, Alfred and Anton of Manitowoc and Frank of Whitelaw; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Hartlaub of Manitowoc and Sister Mary Matthias of St. Joseph Home, Mo.; 18 grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Two infant children and two brothers, John and Louis preceded her in death.
Friends may call in Parkside Funeral Home 4 pm to 9 pm Thursday, where a prayer service will be at 7:30 pm.
