Born 28 Sept. 1883 Barren Co., age 74 yrs. 6 mos., 8 days Husband of Mrs. Goldie Nuckols; son of B K Nuckols (born Barren Co.) Retired farmer, Dr. L Dickinson - cerebral thrombosis. Survived by wife; one son - Wendell Nuckols of Glasgow; 2 grandchildren - Mrs. Mary Rose McCoy and Martha Neal Nuckols; 2 greatgrandchildren. Three brothers - Joe Nuckols of Auburn, IL; James Jonathan Nuckols (Jim) of Route 3 Glasgow and Spurgeon Nuckols of Route 5, Glasgow. One sister - Mrs. Lou Matthews of Route 5, Glasgow. Member of Peters Creek Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge #24 F & AM. Pallbearers: G K Nuckols, Gus Nuckols, Paul Nuckols, Floyd Nuckols, Marvin Matthews and Willard Nuckols. Services by Revs J L Piercy and Garnett Martin 6 April 1958, 2pm Peters Creek Church, Burial Glasgow Cemetery.
