Mr. NUCKOLS was born February 2, 1875, at Glasgow, Kentucky, the son of Benjamin and Sally NUCKOLS. He married Nancy Ann Matthews in Glasgow on February 9, 1898. A farmer, Mr. NUCKOLS had lived south of Auburn for 45 years. He was a member of the Auburn Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, J. Ray NUCKOLS; two daughters, Mrs. Lily Easley and Mrs. Myrt Herron, all of Auburn; two brothers, James, Spurgeon and one sister, Mrs. Lou Matthews all of Glasgow, Kentucky; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday, May 18, at the Methodist Church with Rev. O.L. Hensley, Jr., officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery with the Willis Funeral Home directing.
