Rev. BOOTH MALONE son of William and Lucretia Malone; born Dinwiddie Co., Va., June 6, 1779; married Peggy Norsworthy, March 19, 1801; licensed to preach in Methodist Church, 1804; ordained deacon, 1815; moved to Wilson Co., Tenn., 1810; on September 22, 1846 he was dragged in an accident by his horse, breaking a thigh bone. He died in Tippah Co., Miss., in residence of his son-in-law, Colonel F. T. Leake, June 14, 1849.
