MAGDALENA LUHMAN
Mrs. Magdelaine (sic) Luhman, 96 (above), of 1013 South Eighth St., Manitowoc,
wife of the late Dr. F. S. Luhman, died late Monday morning at the home.
She was born Magdelaine Simon in Mayville, Wis., in 1856, daughter of Dr. and
Mrs. Franz Simon. Her parents moved to Manitowoc seven years later. She was
married to Doctor Luhman in 1878. Her husband died in 1933.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Bleser and Mrs. Elsa Zentner of Manitowoc;
and a son, Atty. Hugo Luhman of Yakama, Wash.
Funeral plans will be announced Tuesday by the Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc.

Funeral services for Mrs. F. S. Luhman, 96, of 1013 South Eighth St., Manitowoc,
who died Monday, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Mittnacht Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. F. C. St.Clair will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
In addition to the survivors listed Monday, there are six grandchildren and four
great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of services.
