Dr. William G. Fallon, 77, of Liverpool died Wednesday at Birchwood Health Care Center. Born in New York City, he was a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, Syracuse University and Georgetown University Medical School. He was a retired physician, having had his own practice in Liverpool, and was also a former medical director at Crucible Materials Corp. He was a communicant of St. Joseph the Worker Church, Liverpool, a life member of the state Medical Society and the American Occupational Medical Association, and a member of the Onondaga County Medical Society, Georgetown Medical Alumni Association and the board of directors at Tully Hill. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. A son, Patrick C., died in 1997. Survivors: His wife of 49 years, the former Patricia Anne Carroll; a daughter, Kathleen Fallon Chickering of Hickory, N.C.; three sons, John W. of Carmel, Ind., Paul N. of Pennellville and Christopher R. of North Syracuse; a sister, Patricia F. Head of Henrietta; seven grandchildren.
Services: 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Maurer Funeral Home and 11:30 a.m. in St. Joseph the Worker Church. Burial, Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Clay.
