PETE DAVIS RITES FRIDAY AFTERNOON
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon (Friday) at the Wickenburg Chapel for Pete Davis, 61-year-old resident of this community for the past four years, who passed away Tuesday morning at Community Hospital where he had been a patient since October 30. Rev. William Barker of the First Baptist Church will conduct the services and burial will be in Wickenburg Cemetery.
Mr. Davis was a native Arizonan, having been born February 19, 1892 in Phoenix. He became ill while he was in Phoenix training horses for Dr. J. C. McGrath of Phoenix and Dick Denny of Skull Valley and was brought to the hospital here.
The Survivors
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Leona Davis; two sisters, Mrs. William L. Barron and Mrs. Ella Farley, both of Phoenix, and a brother Ora Hann of Prescott. He is also survived by three uncles, William H. and Newt Tipton, both of Phoenix, and Gus Tipton of Camp Wood, Arizona.
