FINAL RITES HELD FOR CLARENCE HANN

Funeral services ere held at the Wickenburg Chapel Monday afternoon of this week for Clarence Hann, native Arizonan and long-time resident of this area. He was born in Phx July 1, 1886 and spent most of his life as a cowboy and miner. He died early in the morning of April 14. Justice of the Peace R. L. Westall, in his capacity as exofficio cornoner, ruled that death came by his own hand and no inquest was held. An autopsy showed that the cause of death was cyanide poisoning, Justice Westall said.

At the funeral services, conducted by Rev. George King two cowboy songs were sung by Paul and Gayle Lasswell. Pallbearers were Carl and James Walters, Ernest Roberts, Cecil Kellogg, Joe Perry, Ralph Bowden and C. L. Shontz, Jr. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery.

Surviving are the widow, Leona Hann; two sisters, Mrs Minnie Barren and Mrs Ella Fowler of Phx and two brothers, Ora Hann of Wickenburg and Pete Davis of Prescott.
