COOK, DALLAS 72, of the Schnitzelburg neighborhood in Louisville, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2005, at Norton Audubon Hospital.
He was a native Parksville, KY, an Arm Veteran of the Korean War and a member the Church of Christ. He was a barber of 48 ears and owner of the Bowman-Schnitzelburg Barber Shop for 35 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years and nine months, the former Betty Nevius; his son and daughter- in-law, Gary and Angie Cook; his granddaughters, Lauren and Tiffany Cook; his sisters, Agnes Sneed and Pauline Hubbard; and several nieces and nephews, including Doug Cook.
A celebration life will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Russman Son, 1041 Goss Avenue. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesda in Danville Memorial Gardens in Danville, KY. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday.
