Roxie P. Cook
Roxie Powell Cook, 91, of Harrodsburg Health Care Manor died at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday at her home. Born June 30, 1896, in Iaeger, W. Va., she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth Asbury Powell. She was the widow of Charles E. Cook Sr. She was a member of Chestnut Grove Church of Christ and was an employee of the old Kentucky State Hospital. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ray (Agnes) Sneed of Louisville, Mrs. Lewis (Opal) Cox of Danville and Mrs. George (Pauline) Hubbard of Moreland; a son, Dallas H. Cook of Louisville; a brother, Louie Powell of Iaeger; a sister, Maggie Vanover of Iaeger; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home, Danville.
