Emory Vinson Brownlow was the first child of Elizabeth Skipper Brownlow and Edward Isaac Brownlow. He was a Baptist minister and was a minister at Gould. He died at age 49 of a brain tumor after unsuccessful surgery performed in Dallas, Texas.
