Barron, Alfredo S. (Fred), Saginaw, Michigan. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at St. Mary's of Michigan Hospital. Age 54 years. Alfredo was born May 1, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army. Fred married Bonnie Jean Baker on May 28, 1984. She predeceased him December 5, 1997. He then married Maria C. Rangel on June 20, 2003. She survives him. Fred was employed at Consumers Energy for over 25 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Fred enjoyed his 1988 Corvette and visiting with family especially his grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife Maria are three sons, Freddie and Amy Barron, Bozeman, Montana; Michael and Sara Barron, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Tony Barron, Saginaw; four grandchildren, A.J. and Alyssa Barron, Kate and Natalie Barron; his mother, Irene Drew; one brother, Dan and Margaret Barron, Saginaw; one sister, Margaret (Margie) Sanchez, Saginaw; his mother-in-law, Carol Langley, Bay City; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Fred was preceded in death by his father, James Drew; his sister, Lydia Peters; and his father-in-law, Richard (Dick) Langley. Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Daniel Anholzer, O.F.M. Cap., will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Andrew Cemetery with Military Services Conducted by American Legion Post #439. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
