New Market. Walter A. Bankston, 75, of New Market died Monday. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Bevill's Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Riverview Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nora Bankston; a son, Lois Bankston of Indiana; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Bell Hill of Hazel Green and Mrs. Ilene Chapman of Tennessee; three brothers, Marion Bankston of Huntsville, Bobby Bankston of Illinois and Herbert Bankston of Georgia; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The body will be at the residence in New Market until time for the service.
