Rose Marie Howard, 81, Dwight, formerly of Emington, died at 9:15 p.m. Monday (Jan. 30, 2012) at ASTA Care Center of Pontiac.
She was born Aug. 15, 1930 in Dwight to Anthony and Cecelia Marie Thompson Zappa. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, James, John (Dorothy), William, Charles (Grace) and Robert Zappa; three sisters, Margerie (Edward) Anderson, Nancy (Ted) Kemp, and Jeanette (Larry) Luckey; one son, William Howard and one grandson, Bradley Balzs.
She married Donald Lee Howard on March 31, 1951 in Kankakee. He survives. She is also survived by two sons, Jesse Lee (Delora Henkel) Howard, Pontiac and Mark Anthony (Laurie) Howard, Herscher; six grandchildren, Jess Anthony (Virginia) Howard, Bloomington; Jared William Howard, Las Vegas, Nevada; Ashley Marie (Will Smith) Howard, Cabery; Brittany Balzs, Wilmington, N.C. and Austin Lee Howard and Mark Anthony Howard II, both of Cabery; five great-grandchildren, Elissa Marie and Quinlan Anthony Howard, Bloomington and Logan Thomas Adams and Brooklyn Marie and Raven Rose Smith, Cabery and many nieces and nephews.
