Lulu Kilgore was born on July 17, 1882 in Carthage, Missouri. She was the daughter of Willie and Alice (Beach) Kilgore. Lulu was married to William Zane.
Lulu passed away on April 21, 1925. She was laid to rest in Park Cemetery, Carthage, Missouri.

Life-long resident of Carthage was daughter of late Probate Judge Kilgore. Funeral tomorro
Mrs. Lulu Kilgore Zane died at 5:45 O'clock this morning at her home, 1508 South Garrison Avennue, Carthage, Missoouri. Death was due to heart trouble, from which she had suffered for many years. Her condition had become more serious in the last three years.

A few months ago she was taken to the Carthage hospital for treatment and was brought home five weeks ago. She died quietly while sleeping.

Mrs. Zane was 42 years old. She was born July 17, 1882, in Carthage, and has lived here all her life. She was the daughter of Judge and Mrs. W.H. Kilgore, pioneer residents.
Her father was a probate judge for 16 years and confederate veteran. Judge Kilgore died a number of years ago. Mrs. Kilgore died nearly two years ago.

Mrs. Zane was a life-long member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and of the Q.C. Club.

She is survived by her husband, W.A. Zane, who is a salesman in the office of Empire Electric Company, and by four children,

Robert 13, and
David 10 There are also three brothers living
Leon Mariotte of San Antonio
William B.Kilgore of Tulsa and
Ralph of Youngstown, Ohio

Funeral services were held at Knell Chapel
Rev. F.A. Foster Officiated
