DAVID LEON ZANE
David Leon Zane, 85, died Thursday, November 18 in Austin, Texas
Mr. Zane was born September 28, 1914 in Carthage, MO to William Arthur and Lula Isabell Kilgore Zane.
He married Eddye in Oklahoma City on February 4, 1943. He served in the Air Force from 1942 to 1945, serving in Florida, Mississippi and Fogia, Italy before retiring from active duty as a staff sergeant.
He began working with the First National Bank and Trust Company of Oklahoma City in 1937, and was active in the American Institute of Banking for many years, retiring in 1978. He and his wife are members of the Asbury United Methodist Church, where he served a church treasurer and secretary.
He is preceeded in death by his parents and three siblings;
Louise Zane Esterly, Bill Kilgore Zane and Robert Kilgore Zane
He is survived by his wife; Eddye Woodring Zane
a daughter; B. Leonette Zane Toone
and three grandchildren of Austin, Texas
