ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Mary White Lewis, 95, of 3533 Midwood Road died Monday, July 3, 2006, at Piedmont Medical Center. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Assembly of God, with the Revs. Andrew Housley and Tim Boan officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park. A native of Shulerville, Mrs. Lewis was a daughter of the late Daniel White and Elizabeth Mills White. She was a charter member of Faith Assembly of God. She was the widow of Joe Clayton Lewis.Surviving are four sons, Lester Lewis of Rock Hill, Furman E. Lewis of Chester, Mendel L. Lewis of Catawba, and Samuel J. Lewis of South Boston, Va; two daughters, Evie L. Schultz of Rock Hill and Alma L. Hyatt, both of Catawba; two sisters, Lillie Clark of Bonneau and Lottie Shuler of Jamestown; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchilden. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Vera Elizabeth Lewis.The family will receive friends at home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Assembly of God, 2800 Faith Blvd., Rock Hill, SC 29730. Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel is in charge.
