Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Bluford Funeral Home in Bluford, with the Rev. Paul E. Dann, Sr., officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest cemetery in Centralia.
The body will lie in state at the Bluford Funeral Home, where friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Saturday.
Mr. Whalen was born September 20, 1915, in Belle Rive, the son of Roscoe Vern and Maude (Butler) Whalen.
