LAPORTE - Mrs. Girnell West, 92, died Saturday at LaPorte Hospital in LaPorte, IN. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Willard) Combs; sisters, Glen Tidwell, Ethel Koons, Minnie Jenkins, Sharon Bandy and Karen Bandy; and a brother, James Tidwell. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., LaPorte, where the family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM Tuesday, Dec. 16, and where the funeral service will be. at 1:30 PM Tuesday, Rev. Dennis Jeffers officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte.
