Pamplico, SC - Edna Mae Cooper, 87, wife of Jethro Cooper, passed away Friday September 16, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Cooper was born in Pamplico, SC, a daughter of the late L. J. and Lynnie Bellflower Turner. She was member of New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church and she enjoyed working her garden, flower garden and yard.

Surviving are her husband of 73 years, Jethro Cooper; children, Wayne (Myrtle) Cooper, Larry Cooper, Brenda (Harrell) Cox, Becky (James) Bellflowers Barry (Lisa) Cooper and Harry (Tammy) Cooper; sisters, Shelby Keefe and Rose Nell (Billy) Prosser; sister-in-law, Joyce Matthews; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers Charles and Benson Turner; sister, Uldine Parnell.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 18, 2016 in the New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church, 4221 Sheminally Rd., Pamplico, SC 29583.
