Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, January 15, at 2:30 for Mrs. Trummie Treece, wife of J.L. Treece of near New Madrid, but former residents of this county. Mrs. Treece died Sunday, January 12, in the sanatorium at Webb City, Mo., after an illness of several months, being at the time of her death approximately fifty years of age. Services were held at the Nazarene church in this city, with the Rev. J.E. Linza, conducting the service. Interment was made in Maple cemetery.
