Joseph H. Trost, 80, who resided at the home of his son-in-law and daughter,
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Raby, of 1419A Michigan Ave., Manitowoc, died Monday after-
noon following a one month illness.
Funeral services will be at 8 a.m. Thursday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, and at 8:30 a.m. at Holy Innocent Catholic Church. The Rev. E. A.
Radey will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Trost was born March 13, 1879, at Newton, son of the late Joseph and Augusta
Leverenz Trost. He married the former May Heidorf in 1914 at Manitowoc, where
the couple located. She died in 1946 and Mr. Trost had since resided at the home
of his son-in-law and daughter. He was employed at Rahr Malting Co. for more than
35 years until retiring in 1952.
Survivors include the daughter, two brothers, Otto of Sheboygan, and Walter of
Manitowoc, and two sisters, Mrs. Matt Hein Sr., of Manitowoc and Mrs. Phillip
Hein of Rt. 1, Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
