Mrs. Mamie E. Tollstadius, 91, who resided at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc,
died Tuesday at the hospital.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10
a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. John Hephner will
officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Tollstadius, nee Mamie E. Cavanaugh, was born Feb. 3, 1884, at Maple Grove,
daughter of the late Matthew and Catherine Welsch Cavanaugh. She was married to
Carl Tollstadius in 1904, at Chicago, where they resided. He preceded her in
death in 1968. Mrs. Tollstadius moved to Manitowoc in 1969.
Survivors include six sisters, Mrs. Clara Kings, of Rt. 1, Reedsville, Mrs.
Geraldine Smith, of Milwaukee, Mrs. Vivian Jole, Mrs. Viola Lefky and Mrs.
Genevieve Elfner, of Manitowoc and Mrs. John Pleuss Sr., of Green Bay and
nieces and nephews. Three brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, where a
wake memorial prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
