Blanche G. Stahlecker was born on July 31, 1935 in Winner, South Dakota, the daughter of Otto and Mary (Gentele) Stahlecker.
She married Keith D. Palmer at Valentine, Nebraska on Sept. 11, 1953. Blanche and her husband moved in April of 1957 to Missouri. She was of Lutheran faith. She was a wife, homemaker and was employed at Walworth Publishing for 32 years.
Survivors include her husband, Keith; sons, Craig (Nadine), Terry (Dora), and Steve (Sherri); one daughter, Penny (Chuck); a brother, Ivan Stahlecker; a sister, Lila Schochenmaier; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Mary Stahlecker; 2 sisters, Irene and Evonne; and 2 brother, Melvin and Donald.
