Keith D. Palmer, age 81 of Keytesville, died Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Boone Hospital, Columbia. Keith was born at Winner, South Dakota on September 11, 1934 to James Eugene and Anna Marie (Schrader) Palmer. He married Blanche Stahlecker on September 11, 1953 in Valentine, Nebraska and she preceded him in death. Keith was a well digger and farmer living near Keytesville for 58 years. He is survived by three sons, Craig and Nadine Palmer, and Terry and Dora Palmer, all of Keytesville, Steve and Sherri Palmer, Chula, daughter Penny and Chuck Lewis, Keytesville, brother Clifford and Donna Palmer, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, sister Rosalie Leetch, Macon, fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four brothers, and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, October 2, 2015 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Marceline. The family suggest memorials be made to Mt. Olivet Cemetery and these may be sent to Delaney Funeral Home, 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
