Eva Skelley was born Nov. 1, 1867 at Monticello, the daughter of John W. and Cornelia Webster Skelley, She was married to Elmer E. Hicks of Monticello on Aug. 6, 1891 at Denver, Colo. They made Monticello their home their entire life. Mr. Hicks preceded his wife in death on Oct. 6, 1940. One son, two brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers include Charles Luett, Rex Ricklefs, Eugene Byers, C. J. Matthiessen, Claude Appleby and Sam Rhatigan.
