Port Huron - Adolph Runk, 91, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 1992, in Port Huron Hospital.
He was born Aug. 26, 1900, in Susanentahl, Russia. He came to America in 1912 and was a longtime Port Huron and St Clair-area resident. He married Amalia Herber May 12, 1929, in St. Paul's German and English Lutheran Church at 14th and Wells streets. She died Dec. 23, 1974.
Mr. Runk was a barber in the St. Clair and Port Huron area for many years prior to his retirement. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. 
He is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Irma and Lyell Schneider of Port Huron, Debby and John Hesterberg of North Street, Ruth and Donald Cunningham of St. Clair and Linda and Edwin Ferens of Birmingham; a daughter, Miss Nancy Runk of Mount Clemens; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; a sister, Lydia Flak of Port Huron; a dear friend, Dorothy Nolan of Port Huron; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 3 p.m. Friday in Trinity Lutheran church. The Rev. Robert an of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Bill and John Runk, Greg and Jim Cunningham, Mike Hines and John, tom and Robert Schneider. Honorary pallbearers are David Schneider, Ross Cunningham and Chris Hesterberg.
Visiting is 7 to 9 p.m. today and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Pollok-Randall Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
