Mrs. Amelia Runk, 91 of 518 Thirteenth St., Port Huron resident 43 years died Friday, March 30, 1961 in her home after a long illness. Mrs. Runk was born Dec. 1869 in Russia. She was the former Miss Amelia Meinhardt, she and Solomon Runk, were married in 1886. He died Sept. 30, 1936.

She is survived by four sons Johann Runk, William Runk and Alex. E. Runk all of Port Huron and Adolph Runk St. Clair; and three daughters Mrs. John Labor, Deckerville, Mrs. Fred Schumann, McGreggor and Mrs. Andrew Falk, Port Huron; 35 grandchildren and 56 Great Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The remains will be in the Pollock Jowett Funeral Home until 11 A.M. Monday when they will be removed to St. Paul's American Lutheran Church were funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Runk was a member of the church, Rev. Lloyd A. Hasselbach pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
