"Memphis, Mo. - Isabelle K. Birk, 93, of Memphis, died at 8:30 a.m. Sunday (Oct. 20, 1985) in Scotland County Memorial Nursing Home in Memphis.
"Mrs. Birk was born in Canton April 27, 1892, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Lutz Roost. She married William Earl Birk in June, 1913, in Canton. He died in 1975.
"Mrs. Birk moved to Memphis from Canton in 1938. She was a 50-year member of the Carter Chapter Order of Eastern Star at Memphis and the Rebekah Lodge 632 at Memphis and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
"Surviving are a son, Earl of Memphis; and a granddaughter, . . . She was preceded in death by three brothers.
"Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Payne-Gerth Funeral Home by the Rev. Kenneth Campbell. Burial will be in the Memphis Cemetery.
"Memorials may be made to the Scotland County Memorial Nursing Home."
