OBITUARY
The Rochester Sentinel

Mary E. ROCKEY, 70, Twelve Mile, died Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Murphy hospital in Charlotte, N.C. She had been seriously ill five days.

She was born to John and Cora SNODGRASS JONES in Elwood April 21, 1901. She was married in Rochester May 2, 1923 to Russell C. "Pat" ROCKEY, who died June 19, 1952. She moved to Twelve Mile from Macy in 1938. She was a member of the Macy Christian church.

Surviving are two sons, Robert LEATHES, Anderson, and Jack ROCKEY, Charlotte, N.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Carr BEECHER, Denver, and Mrs. Russell BROWN, Boynton Beach, Fla.; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Russell SROUFE.

Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the McCain country chapel, Ind. 16 and U.S. 31, with the Rev. William SHEWMAN officiating. Burial will be in the Macy Plainview cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday.
