Georgianna M. SROUFE, 83, Rt. 2, Macy, died at 4:50 a.m. today at Woodlawn Hospital, following a two-year illness. She was born Feb. 27, 1908 in Elwood to John and Cora SNODGRASS JONES. On Oct. 15, 1928 in Macy she married W. Russel SROUFE, who survives. She was a 1927 graduate of Macy High School and a graduate of Warner Beautician College, Fort Wayne. She was a member of the Macy Christian Church. Surviving with the husband are two sons, Thomas [SROUFE], Macy, and Mark J. [SROUFE], Rochester; a daughter, Elizabeth NICODEMUS, Silver Lake; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Preceding in death were a sister, Mary ROCKEY, and a brother, Elbert JONES. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the McCain Funeral Home, Denver, with David WELSH officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery, Macy. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
